Neil: On the point of proving anything, my objective is to be as objective as possible. Unfortunately, many people who post here do so on the basis of opinion or on hearsay without any evidence to back it up. So it becomes a "he said - she said" furtile discourse. You have made some statements regarding how it is Joey's fault some people got turned off on Badfinger because of a CD that was out of Joey's control. This leads to more discussions that degenerate to silliness. Then there are those who continually pick on Joey and Kathie as if everything is their fault. No one bothers to mention and attack Pete for his shortsightings or Tommy for his erratic and sometimes mean behavior. The interaction amongst all four members, Bill Collins, Stan Polley and others involved all contributed to whatever success or failure of the band. If we are going to analyse or criticize then let's be fair about the whole thing and attack Pete, Tommy and Mike. I'm not advocating that this be done. All I'm saying is if we are fans, then let's do it on a level of respect and appreciation. If anyone has any questions, I'm sure if correctly presented, an answer would be forthcoming. But making unfounded accusations or expressing opinions that can be hurtful will only breed discontent, attacks, and not further the cause of Badfinger. George Harrison said it best - "Beware of Darkness".
