Some years ago Joey recorded an album released on Hallmark called Come And Get It AKA The Best Of Badfinger, even the paperwork with this CD doesn't say that it is only Joey on it. Joey says he keeps the Badfinger name alive telling us he does it all in the bands interest. Two years ago I spoke to somebody who had this CD about Badfinger and they said they thought they were tripe, I couldn't talk them into listening to the real stuff because they just wasn't interested. In the UK this album sells for £2.99 or $6 which means a lot of people out there buy this rubbish thinking it was Badfinger that recorded it. I have yet to meet anybody who has played the album through even though it has sold more albums since it's release than many of the real Badfinger stuff. The only reason I see for disguising this album and not using Joey's name is because it wouldn't sell at all otherwise. How can Joey say how much the group means to him when he made this fouth rate album, It doesn't just cheat the public, it tells them that this group is crap, which as we all know isn't the case. I think the last time I read anything about this album, it was said Joey accepted a one off payment of $5000, not a lot of money to ruin your own groups credibility is it? Tell me how this album promotes the group Badfinger, it's one thing making a hash of your own compersitions but, when your giving the same treatment to the rest of the group that really is tragic.
